Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
A baby was strapped to my back, while another crawled around in the playpen. I spent 12 hours days for months sanding and stripping wallpaper and with just one child. Ha! It was beginning to seem logical, however it was far from done. To furnish the home would be a huge effort with regards to time and money. It was also going to be a challenge to go out and shop for my most-loved items. To keep in the realm of budgets, I took to taking my kids to estate sales in search of diamonds. Every week, we would stroll through garage and estate sales on Thursdays and Saturdays and purchase a variety of antique and brand new furniture. Then I would spend the rest of my time painting and sanding on our front lawn. It was a bit like this... That's when my interest in restoration of furniture started. Even after our house was fully furnished, I could not quit! There was a market in the area to let me sell my pieces. Eventually, my collection grew enough that the area I had was no longer adequate. My house was transformed into a space where I would host open houses, where up to 1000 visitors could see items from the first floor, and then purchase the items. Growing Days is the result from this. The business wasn't just expanding, but so was our family of four. As a young mom I was able to find the perfect balance to both start my own business as well as be a good mother. Growing Days fit perfectly. In 2013, my lovely daughter Nora came along our 4th child. My business's direction was great, but I was forced to rest for a while. I decided to take some break from my antique furniture and remain at home with the kids. It was exactly what I needed. After a couple of months, my phone started to begin to. They were asking for my help in interior decoration as well as renovations. The majority of them visited my home during my furniture open houses. In the course of my work I added new clients each day. However, it didn't take long before I had multiple clients and ran an extremely successful business of home renovation. When you first told me about your home remodeling business, I laughed. Actually I still kind of laugh when I think about the idea.
